Our Intention
The idea of this blog was born out of necessity. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been called to Islam, but this feeling often comes with a symphony of others: anger, loneliness, helplessness. Don’t get me wrong: Islam is the best thing in my life, the most profound decision I've ever made. No regrets. It brings me hope, peace, and purpose. But emotions are not solo artists; they are a full orchestra, often playing different tunes simultaneously. My deep love for my faith exists alongside my struggles.
My journey is both unique and shared with many reverts, I sought answers, support, and the love and compassion I found in Islam. Some of us had unrealistic expectations, perhaps thinking Muslims would perfectly embody and master their religion. I now realize this was neither realistic nor fair.
That’s a very revert thing to do. When we choose a religion, we sacrifice a lot for it. We are convinced! We dive in headfirst! We see everything through that lens, and yes, we can come off as a bit intense. Most of us are—mostly in a good way.
Naturally, we expect the community to welcome us with open arms, provide all the answers, and hand us a ready-to-go starter kit. If that was your experience, you're among the lucky few. I, like too many of us, felt rejected, lost and alone and I thought I would do my best to reach out to others through this blog.
My Objective
To make reverts and people interested in Islam feel less alone. Simple, right? Yet so profound. By sharing my experiences and challenges, I hope to connect with you on a deeper level. I've gathered and translated many valuable resources that helped us on my journey. God willing, this will benefit both born Muslims and reverts alike.

What Makes Us Different?
You’re right: there's a lot of content out there, and it’s fair to ask why you should spend your time here. Good Muslims ask questions, so you’re on the right track!
A Positive and Non-judgmental Space: No haram police here!
For Reverts by Reverts: I know what it’s like, and I tell it as it is.
Personal Content: I share my life, my successes, and my struggles.
Helpful Resources: Despite my differences, I share many commonalities. If these resources helped us, they might help you too. And because I love technology, I use cutting-edge tools to provide content often unavailable in English.
My Reliability
I am not a scholar. What I provide here are tools and stories about my experiences. Before you incorporate something into your life, I recommend doing your research.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, grant us wisdom in my words and sincerity in my actions. Make this space a source of comfort, knowledge, and unity for all who seek Your guidance. Protect us from pride and error, and forgive us my shortcomings. Bless my efforts and accept them as acts of worship. Lead us and my readers on the straight path, and fill my hearts with Your light and love.
Ameen.
